The VI Peel is a multi-step procedure. The first part is done in our clinic, the second part is to be completed at home over the course of one full week (7 days) **All instructions below must be followed closely in order to achieve the desired result
Four hours after your in-clinic treatment, please follow these steps:
1. Gently cleanse your skin using only your fingertips with the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser. Rinse thoroughly with cool water and pat your skin dry.
2. Apply the first VI Peel Post Peel Towelette evenly over the entire treated area, carefully avoiding your eyelids and lips. Ensure that the towelette is completely dry before discarding it. Do not rinse off. Remember to wash your hands after use.
3. Allow 10 minutes for the product to absorb.
4. Apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream. **Important:** Do not use any other products during this time.
**For Night 1 (one hour before bedtime):**
1. Cleanse the skin again using only your fingertips and the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser.
2. Use the Precision Plus Towelette, covering all areas until it is dry. Do not rinse off and discard the towelette after use. Wash your hands thoroughly.
3. Wait for 30 minutes.
4. Apply the second VI Peel Post Peel Towelette to the entire treated area, avoiding eyelids and lips. Make sure the towelette is dry before discarding it and wash your hands afterward.
5. Allow 10 minutes for the product to absorb.
6. Finally, apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream. **Note:** No other products should be applied.
**For Day 2 - Morning:**
1. Cleanse your skin with the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser using your fingertips. Rinse with cool water and pat dry.
2. Apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream.
3. Wait for 5 minutes to let the cream fully absorb.
4. Apply VI Derm SPF 50 Daily UV Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen, reapplying every 2-4 hours or as needed throughout the day. **Tip:** Makeup can be applied if necessary.
**For Night 2 (one hour before bedtime):**
1. Cleanse your skin again with the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser using your fingertips.
2. Apply the Precision Plus Towelette to the entire treated area until it is dry. Do not wash off. Discard the towelette and wash your hands.
3. Wait for 30 minutes.
4. Use the second VI Peel Post Peel Towelette on the treated area, avoiding eyelids and lips, until it is dry. Discard it and wash your hands afterward.
5. Wait for 10 minutes.
6. Apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream. **Note:** No other products should be used.
**For Days 3 to 7: Every Morning:**
1. Cleanse your skin with the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser.
2. Apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream.
3. Apply the VI Derm SPF 50 Daily UV Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen.
**Every Night (one hour before bedtime):**
1. Cleanse your skin with the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser.
2. Apply a THIN layer of the Post-Treatment Repair Cream.
**Important:** Peeling typically begins around Day 3. Once peeling starts, it is crucial that you do NOT peel or pick at the skin and AVOID sun exposure, as this can lead to permanent irritation, scarring, and changes in pigmentation. Peeling usually resolves by Day 7. After your skin has completely peeled, you may resume your normal skincare routine.
